The Pizzaiolo is a revolutionary benchtop oven that can reach temperatures of up to 400°C, allowing you to cook an authentic wood-fired style pizza in just 2 minutes from the comfort of your own home. It emulates all three types of heat produced by a traditional brick oven, namely conductive, radiant, and convective heat. In addition, our Element iQ system recreates the optimal baking conditions for a variety of pizza types, including New York, Pan, Thin & Crispy, and Frozen pizzas.
Model Features
Utilizing conductive heat to achieve desired char control on the pizza base.
The dynamic deck of the oven is designed to be independently controlled and placed directly above responsive incoloy heating elements. This setup allows the cordierite stone to be heated evenly and quickly, maintaining the ideal temperature and achieving the desired finish on the pizza base, including the classic wood-fired char.
Using radiant heat to achieve a spotted crust with leopard-like markings.
Sage's patent-pending heating elements produce intense, evenly distributed radiant heat, eliminating the need to rotate food during cooking. The top heating elements are optimized for efficiency with heat-intensifying parabolic reflectors that direct energy towards the crust. The oven's integrated deck-to-door design brings the pizza closer to the heating elements and makes it easy to load and unload.
Utilizing convection heat to bake and perfectly cook the pizza toppings.
To create wood-fired and Neapolitan style pizzas, the optimised deflector shield is in place to shield the delicate toppings from intense heat while also reflecting radiant heat towards the crust to achieve the coveted leopard spotted effect. For other pizza styles, the dynamic switching of the inner heating element ensures even browning of the toppings, cheese, and dough.
Automatic settings for your preferred pizza styles.
The Pizzaiolo includes a variety of preset cooking functions, such as "Wood Fired" for an authentic taste, classic New York style, deep and flavourful Pan pizza, thin and crispy bar-style pizza, and even a setting for frozen pizzas. You can impress your family and friends by using recipe cards designed by Sage to complement the Pizzaiolo and create delicious homemade pizzas.
Tailor your cooking with manual mode.
With the Manual Mode, you have the ability to fully customize how the oven functions, allowing you to individually control the deck and top temperatures, as well as select which heating elements are in operation. This feature enables you to choose the ideal heat configuration for your desired outcome, such as selecting "Crust Only" to achieve leopard spotting on a Neapolitan style pizza or "Even Heat" for other pizza styles where the toppings, cheese, and dough are evenly browned.
Heat retention and safe operation.
The oven's double-pane heat resistant front window, combined with multi-material insulation surrounding the heat chamber, guarantees that the high temperatures remain inside the oven cavity while keeping the outside surfaces as cool as possible.
